On 1 April, Mid Sweden University will switch banks from Nordea to Danske Bank. All salary payments will be made by Danske Bank to your payroll account. Due to banking secrecy, Nordea cannot provide Danske Bank with your current payroll account information, which is why you have to register your account information at Danske Bank.
Registering a payroll account at Danske Bank does not mean that you automatically become a Danske Bank client; the purpose is only to have your salary paid to the account of your choice. Should you however, already be a Danske Bank client, you still have to register the Mid Sweden University payroll account information.
To be able to register a payroll account, you need a mobile bank identification number (Swedish: bank-ID) or an electronic identification (Swedish: e-legitimation)
If Danske Bank lacks your payroll account information by the time of the April salary payment, it will be made by means of a postal cheque which is sent to your home address. The postal cheque can be cashed at a bank office or at another agent for a fee. Please follow the steps on this site if you need to change your payroll account information during the period of your employment at Mid Sweden University.
Please make sure to register your payroll account information by 10 April to ensure a correct salary payment in April.
Please note that you can only register your account electronically (you cannot go to the bank office to register an account). If you do not have a a mobile bank identification number (Swedish: bank-ID) or an electronic identification (Swedish: e-legitimation), please fill in the form below and send it to the Division of Human Resources. If you have any questions please contact your payroll specialist.
If you are a new employee, employed after 15 January 2017, or if you are an hourly employee, please fill in the form below and send it to the Division of Human Resources, Mid Sweden University, as soon as possible.
